Startpix has two main goals:
1. We want to help people make their links available to them wherever they are.
We help keep links in a central place. We make them visually attractive and intuitive to use. Startpix will simplify surfing the web.
To do this, we want to
get bookmarks into and out of the system in as many ways as we can: from you, from the websites you visit and from the bookmarks you made on your desktop or with other bookmarking initiatives.
While surfing our users on average click on links on their Startpix 250 times a day. Read news feeds 30 times a day, do searches 25 times a day. All from one location!
2. We want to help people find new interesting websites in a non-hierarchical way.
This can be via the Startpix Search Engine which is totally based on the number of different people who have bookmarked and tagged a link on their page. User generated bookmarks feed our search engine.
We're not interested in all websites, just in those you think are worth bookmarking!
These sites also come your way via the Startpix suggestions based on tagged sites with similarities to the tags you used for your own Startpix links.
Just
get invited and find out for yourself!
